Monica is a seasoned tax professional with over 17 years of experience (since 2008) specializing in cross-border individual taxation between Canada, the U.S. and internationally.

Her expertise covers tax planning, expatriate programs, emigration/immigration and compliance for non-resident transactions. She has held prominent roles in prestigious firms, including Big4s.

Monica holds a Graduate Diploma in Taxation from HEC Montreal and a Master in Law and Taxation Studies from the University of Montevideo.
